Embodied Yoga & Movement is a virtual studio created by Michaela Martin. I seek to create teachings that cultivate a deeper understanding and connection to the mind and body. I offer a wide variety of styles on this platform from classes that focus more specifically on physical therapeutics to classes that weave together mindful awareness, breath and movement.

Hi, I’m Michaela!
My relationship with yoga is one of continuous evolution, curiosity and self discovery. I've been teaching yoga since 2011 and earned my bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Bastyr University. I've dedicated the last decade to training and self-study in wellness, yoga and various movement modalities. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition and what it means to find and sustain balance across the many dimensions of the human experience. I use my knowledge to offer a well rounded, interdisciplinary practice where people can learn about their bodies and move in an inviting and open environment that fosters curious exploration and self inquiry. Embodied Yoga & Movement Virtual Studio is here for just that, a place to learn, move, breath and develop a greater connection to the self.
I'm a firm believer that access to movement and wellness knowledge shouldn't be limited by your budget, which is why I created a tiered payment program.
